Default Where should I shift a stock LS2

I have finally gotten in some full throttle runs with my LS2 crate engine. I am used to an LT1 heads/cam car needed to shift at 6100 or so, but this engine pulls strong well past that. I have been shifting at 6500 because I heard that was the factory redline and I only have a few hundred miles on it.

Now that I am going to the track soon, what is the valvetrain good for? I was thinking no more than 6800, but something besides a guess would be nice.

By the way, this is an all stock LS2 with 1 3/4" full length headers and dual 3" exhaust (2.5" over the axles).

I wouldn't go past 6500 on stock valvesprings.

Heres our opinion (based on optron testing)
6400 for LS1/LS2 valves
6800 for LS6 or other lightweight valves
7000 for LS6 or other lightweight valves w/titanium retainers
7000 for LS7

I figured those sodium filled valves made a difference; thanks for the numbers.

I would say 6800 would be fine IMO
