I'm confused, if the LS2 w/conversion parts is 600 more then how is this iron shortblock a special? Not to mention the added 80-100 lbs. Guys spend more than 600 bucks to drop 50 lbs around here.

Don't get me wrong, I'm interested but the price compared to an LS2 is not that good for a special. Maybe if the cam and timing set was included?

That is a special price for the iron ones that we have in stock. They are ones that we had on the shelf since before the LS2 blocks came out. Once they are gone we will not be stocking them anymore.
