W2W did my motor but as far as I can tell. You use a normal LS2 vally plate to get rid of the DOD stuff. Take out the cam pharser stuff and cam. Put in a normal cam with LS2 cover , gears and chain. Boom, its a big bore LS2. I might have missed something but as far as I can tell its that easy.

i am able to get a 6.2 motor trans wiring harness and computer right now for my 2000 camaro what all do i have to do to install it far as making everything work like a/c guages etc. id like to use that 6 speed auto would be nasty let me know what i need thanks also do they work well on nitrous ive been hearing ls7 have been tearing up with nitrous due to the rods and other things

Wont work, wont comminicate with the modules in your car. Different protocol/bus system. Better off changing the engine back to 24X electronics with a mechanical 90MM and run a compatible trans.

L92 Carb style manifold
I just ordered my L92 carb manifold today for $299 plus shipping.
I should have it in a few days, I will post some pics when it is in.
I ordered the L92 complete heads since the bare heads are still on backorder.
Also, I am not sure if anyone is making performance valves for this head yet.
BTW, the L92 efi truck manifold is available too for about $195.
Can't wait to get my twin turbo setup this winter!

Here is some more exhaust data for you guys............
TEA's bench info shows some different results from what I have seen so far.
WCCH Exhaust port tested without pipe (4.155” bore).

Normally I don't see that big of difference with a pipe and without, so it's hard to take this as evidence of what the stock exhaust actually flows with a pipe to me. Normally you see 10% maybe at the most, this is showing double that.

I am going to put the assembled as cast L92 heads on my twin turbo
project this month to see what real world performance they offer.
I am a little concerned about using the stock valves with a turbo though.
Do you think the stockers will live at 15psi of boost at 6,500rpm?
I will be running twin 55mm turbos with 1.21 a/r housings to keep the exhaust temps down, and to soften the power curve on the street.
Do you know if anyone offers Inconel exhaust valves for these heads yet?

With the pipe flows are important.
Because while we see it is possible for a port flow to go up with a pipe, it is also possible for it to go down. Pipe should simulate typical header tube that will be bolted up.
Exhaust side is ported with great consideration to how flow is affected with a pipe in place.
Same on intake side, a optimal method might be to take several inches of typical runner that will be bolted to it, port the intake side with consideration to a runner that it should be used with.
On BBF there are still some trying to get max out of stock or old heads. What I found interesting is some of them were able to get ports to increase in flow, with the right ported manifold. Most of the time flow losses where minimized.
The L92 head manifold is doing great where the intake knocks off max of 20CFM. This can be improved upon and even 5% will be worth something.
A couple have gotten the LS7 manifold smothed and ported with ported intake side of head, to flowing what the LS7 heads do stock or 360CFMish.
Is possible on the bigger combos to maybe need a 1" or 2" trimmed off the runner length ( is this possible ? ), to max out the higher rpm TQ curve.

I will be changing out the springs of course, so aside from minor blending while the valves are out, I am thinking of trying them as cast to see what they are capable of.
I'm sure the production castings will not have as much as the aftermarkets
so I would like to keep the casting as durable as possible.
One of the big reasons to use the L92 is the price, so I think that testing
the heads unported will give helpful information to people like myself trying to make good power without breaking into the kid's college fund too much.
I don't have cubic $ to spend, nor am I trying get every last horsepower out of the setup. My goal is to see what these will do at 10-15psi of boost in a streetable build that doesn't need a ton of maintance. We shall see...

Sometimes you just need to put something in a car and drive it to see if it works for you. After all you are building the car for you, right!

I have heard of quite a few people making big numbers with stock LS1 heads,
so I would have to think that with the matching carb intake and an elbow these should be able to put down some good HP numbers as is.
The price is right for sure!
