Are you serious?!? Whoa that's some crazy lag time.

I don't know if they're being straight with me down there, as they originally told me 6 weeks (full knowing I'm sure that they would never come close to that number). I called last week, and they said they were all ready and waiting to ship. I called today, they said they were waiting on the springs??? I thought that was odd, since a week ago they were ready, and he was going to email me a tracking number and now they don't have springs?

Weird. I'm glad I'm not in too much of a rush (we'll see what kind of opinion I have in a few weeks, when I'm waiting on the heads to finish the car lol).

Might be too much head. Have you considered changing your cam? With that large a port at hydraulic roller revs you may not have enough port velocity for a 244 on a 113lsa. That would be like a 254 on a 108.

Is anyone else sick of our suppliers jacking us around on delivery times!!!! I think it is a bunch of BS how they tell you one thing and mean another. I guess thats what makes a great salesman. Tell the person what they want to hear, and just keep dragging them along!!!

Just pisses me off to see you guys trust people like this and they don't tell you the truth. Sponsors, if you can't deliver the product, just tell us. We won't be mad if you tell the truth!!!

I'm sure they are nice heads, but personally wouldn't deal with a company flat out dicking people around like that. Blatantly lying about delivery times doesn't make you a good salesman, it just makes you a liar.

In ET's defense, I'm sure they didn't set out to mislead people. **** happens. AFR STILL hasn't got their small chamber large bore 225's out...thats been years.

Yep, that's why I got the 265's, because I knew I was getting a better intake choice. With the LS7, I'd be stuck with a LS7 intake or something sheetmetal. The Harrop should bury any single inlet manifold. We could also get into port shapes and all that, but that's another thread. Basically, when I posed the question: Intake being no factor, which head has a better port design, I was told to stick with the cathedral port 265's.

Just from looking around on their website, it looks like it's around $4,000, if I'm seeing things correctly. That might be listed in Australian dollars, in which case it would be just slightly over $3,000 US.

LS7 intake + TB is only ~$650 or so, and flows well into the mid-high 300cfm range ... plenty for me, considering the FAST is only right around 300cfm if I remember correctly.

JZ, the intake was around $2700 US without the airboxes. Shipping weighed in at a over $400 from Australia, then your charged a money conversion fee. Total was around $3300 door to door. This was the old price from back in Jan/Feb. I've heard they have since went up, but don't know the specifics.

As for the flow of the LS7 intake, until somone posts intake only results, it's all speculation. However, it does seem to be doing better than the FAST, so you can't complain there.

Brian98, do a search for Harrop, there is tons of info on the intake out there.

You have to think, your buying 8 TB's and not just one! Not to mention they are cnc'd and come with fuel rails.

Looks good, that's about it. TB inlets look small and the runners look very short. May be a good 5-9k rpm intake.
