Default will my valve covers fit.......
I have a 1998 pontiac transam. I was wondering if 98 valve covers fit LS6 heads???? Or do I have buy new LS6 valve covers to fit???

New covers. 98s are perimeter, LS6 are center bolt.

i know that i need the brackets,but do I need new coil packs also??? Or will the 98 ones work with LS6 centerbolt??

No, the old coil packs will work. But your right, you will need the brackets.

a lot of times you can find the new style coils and brakets sold as one. The newer coils will work as long as its sold with the harness.

Here's some valve covers for sale. I already bought one set of them and the coil pack rails from them. You can get coil rails for only a couple of bucks from the stealership or somewhere. Check ACW's part number threads for some part numbers on them.
