What heads to drop compression on GTO LS2?
What heads to drop compression on GTO LS2? Putting on a d1sc procharger and looking to drop the compression some. What heads would work the best/easiest. Not looking for any performance increase, just lower CR. would like them to be assembled with comperable springs to suit 550+.
The AFR 225's with the 72cc chamber would certainly help and increase power along the way, but are spendy. Otherwise the standard 6.0L Gen III heads have a 71cc chamber but will sacrifice some flow compared to the LS6/LS2 head.

org, i agree. i think i'll be going with the sierra 2k2 year heads and some proper gaskets and achieve ~9.6:1 and lose no performance (sans the CR drop). that year of head is also rumored to be the most effecient, stock for stock.

Patriot 2019 - Assy 2.08"/1.60"/72cc $1,195.95 and in stock (it would probably take a week at most to be on your doorstep).
Yeah thats 2.08in intake and 1.60 exhaust Ferrera Valves with .650" Gold Springs and alls the trimings.... very hard to compete with.
Oh and the kit should have head gaskets and bolts (will need longer bolts then what comes in the kit for the LS2, IE all the bolts need to be long not 3/4 long 1/4 short... check with a mechanic to see what I'm talking about).
