Interesting find....I just realized that I have the front timing cover off the L92 engine, which includes the L92 camshaft position sensor....
Does anyone know of that is compatible with the LS1 pcm? I'm guessing its no different, but if someone knows that it infact is not, PLEASE post up and let me know! Just making sure everything goes smoothly on install!
Adrian
PN is 12591720 for the sensor

Well, I've got almost everything all wrapped up!! I just need the damn Coolant Drain plug!! What a bummer to not have something to simple, and IMPOSSIBLE to find.
Maybe someone has one local to me I can pick up tomorrow!? I'm working in Garden City, MI, but of course I can drive...just putting this out there. Its the large coolant plug that goes in the drivers side of the block.
Thanks!
Adrian

Dave (SLED28), man does he really know how to build engines, and he really got me through a HUGE bind! Its been really great working with you!
Jason from Katech Engineering. He's come through for me with parts that I could not find anywhere else! Which includes arp flywheel bolts, arp crank bolt, UMI LS2/7 TB and the damn coolant plug! Thanks a lot for you help as well Jason, great guy.
More updates/vids to come soon! Working on the tune currently.

Well....I've got EFILive with the new COSv5 with TPSvsRPM Ve Table tuning capabilities as well as other misc customized tables for fine detailing of the tune. So far, she drives like stock, with the exception of just a little hint of bucking (barely noticeable) from 1500-1700 rpms in 5th gear, most other gears are pretty smooth, and cruising down the highway in 6th is smooth as could be with AFR's pretty much on target in the street driving areas of the VE table in all gears. WOT is a little fat, but nothing to be too concerned over, but I haven't taken her over 4K rpms (42lb injectors at 50+% duty cycle with 2.5K rpms left) yet because its just too wild for the street....scares the **** out of me. A couple more days and a mustang dyno will get me right on target in the entire VE table, and I expect driveability to be awesome since so far just street tuning has come up pretty damn well....the beauty of a OLSD tune and EFILive!
I'm coming up there in the morning to get the racetronics pump kit installed at building #3, you can check out the car if you'd like Jason...I don't mind

J-Rod, thanks for the kind words!! I finally hit the dyno yesterday....it was an "interesting" experience to say the least hahaha....
I get there, the guy who owns the Mustand Dyno wasn't there, although my vehicle was already on the rollers. Then the owner of the shop shows me some stuff and says..."Alright, have fun" and starts walking away. So, to make a long story short....I had to dyno my car, ALONE. First time to the dyno, and I have to run the dyno myself.
Did a little tuning and started to make some power runs. On my last power run, AFR was a tad rich (jumped between 11.8-12.3), but it pulled 497rwhp 435ftlbs. Now, this sounds horribly low and I thought the same thing...but then I asked the owner of the shop about it and he said their dyno is setup for tuning and will not give the "dyno queen" numbers people look for. For comparisons sake, another TA there, with a 427ci with ETP C5R 255 heads w/sheetmetal intake, true duals exh, made "only" 480hp to the wheels on their dyno. My exh is still your standard y-pipe setup with a flowmaster muffler, so that is choking the car down ALOT. So, add a dual exh setup, it'll probably see another 20hp/15trq conservatively on their dyno. So, I think my car did REALLY well for the setup. It still has a little work left to be done, but add that exh, touch up the tune and we're talking probably 520-530hp on their dyno which translates to 587hp/500 trq on a dynojet which I'd have to say, is pretty f'in nice...=D
Dyno graph inclose.
Thanks goes out to Jason at Katech, he stopped by the shop (which is across the street) to see how she was doing, and helped me out a little with the dyno. I appreciate it!
Best Regards,
Adrian
PS...Gotta love that FLAT trq curve =)

I think it peaked at 6500 so, if you count back, it looks like 2500rpm?... I think those lines are close to 500rpm each.
Adrian you did pretty good for the pressure! At least you can say you know how to run a dyno to your buddies
Its too bad the guy wasn't there. Hope you had a good day today!

Theres a menu on the bottom of the screen for the horzontal axis. I changed it while we were looking at it.
