i will be using a 6.200" rod, with a 4.010" bore piston, in an iron block....stock stroke. should make good power.

I have a stock 3.622" crank, standard 6.0L block, 6.300" Eagle H-beam Rods, Mahle 4.00" (402" stroker shelf pistons) forged pistons...

This would be a standard 6.0" but have a longer rod and would probably work better for the high rpm boost motor project...

Any impressions of the long rod setup?

what kind of piston is it? is it a dome flat top reverse dome?

Well it was brought to my attention by 427 thats doing a similar setup that I didnt think about. I have some -32 dished pistons...without the extra stroke it would be like 7:1 compression! Eeekk opps. With a small 59cc chamber head I can get it up to around 8:1

Wow. that low. What would happen if I used +4cc pistons with some 64cc heads and the gasket you were going to use.

The diamond piston part # I posted above is a -15cc dish (about 16 after hand finishing).
