Default L92 valve to cyl wall clearance w/4 in.bore

I was curious how the l92 heads would look in a 4.00 bore. I put them on a stock ls2 block and the exhaust had .085 and intake was .075 from cylinder wall. I think I will put a small chamfer on the cylinder top sides to eliminate the small edge from the slightly wider chamber. Obviously a bigger bore will be better but for right now I have the block. I am seeing how cheap I can get a quality 500 hp engine for.

Humm, now you have me wondering about these heads on a blown 370. 4.030 bore. Itll give it a touch more room to breath, but may still shroud the valves some? Only thing really making me think twice is the weak exaust flow of these heads.

I think they would be perfect...the chambers are about 69cc and the shrouding will be less of a problem with a boosted airflow. I am using a stock crank with $200 eagle rods and mahle pistons. I will have about $ 2,300 in the longblock. This stuff went from being more expensive than sbc to way cheaper than sbc.
