Untested? ... and GM didn't? Do you have ANY clue how far GM pushed the Production Ti rods before releasing them? Some Ti rods are $1k each? WTF does that mean... and what relevance does it have here? GM LS7 rods are not $1k each... in fact there is ZERO additional price if "re"building an LS7 crate motor (unless of course you send the rods to Katech for their solid bushing upgrade)... other than perhaps a new set of rod bolts. Why do you care how much Ti is in them? Shouldn't you be asking how much heavier the Lunati rod is compared to the GM Ti rod? Maybe if you are a Materials Scientist you could tell us by weight how much Titanium is in the GM rod... especially if you are going to this effort of buidling an expensive motor and questioning it?

... or maybe you are scratch building a motor from an LS7 block only... based on a specific crank horsepower goal you "feel" a factory Ti rod will not sustain and have yet to have invested in the Ti rods via a crate motor?

That's not the best rod for nitrous. Motor looks killer.
