Default L92's, what are they in?

Mom just bought a new 07' Tahoe, and I thought it would have the 6.2, but it's still the iron 5.3. After looking on GM's web sight, I see no mention of it even being an option for anything, not even the SS trucks. Is this just something for the Escalades and the Denali's? Figured production would range farther than those 2 vehicles.

There not in the tahoes. The owners manual has the normal 4.8/5.3/6.0 in it. Her sticker says it has the 5.3 with DOD.

They will not be offered in the regular Tahoe as the 6.0 were never offered in the Tahoes. They might stick them in a truck ans call it a SS. The reason they list it for Tahoes is because a Denalli is a Yukon.
We just bought a new Denalli and at first it got horrble gas mileage but now it is getting better around 15 to 16 hwy.
