Chris,
NOT US. Our job has been done for a long time. (May)
I can tell you that's been the subject of much conjecture and heated language between us and "the foundry".
I can also tell you it's been the cause of extreme and expensive measures on our part.
That's all I can tell you.

I see you eye to eye on that. We have been going through this issue from day 1. I know a little more about Worlds experience than you would about ours, but I empathize. It was much easier when we still had a mass of foundries in this country, now, most of them cannot afford to compete against oversees opperations, not to mention the cost of metal over here. Its is worse than gas.

Cary,
Appreciate your kind words. I see you're in Michigan which tells me you're probably well versed in the perils of machine houses and foundries. I'm told that the US is down to about 14 foundries now.

How much do these warhawk blocks and heads weigh?

Or, more to the point, how much do they weigh against LS1/2/6/7 blocks/heads?

black,
The 9.24 deck comes in at 98 lbs. with caps and sleeves. The LS7X head is 27 lbs. bare.

My message was received by the people that it was directed to, no one else. My situation with the production of this block goes back a long, long way and I' won't begin to explain it here...

And you say "rush to market" I hear "rush to sell".. I don't care how long it takes to make something just don't start selling it before you have it. World Products made promises that they didn't keep time and time again... and "some" of us took them at their word... Shame on me, but not again...

There are better blocks out there but you just don't hear about them... That's because there're not ready yet, or proven themselves worthy of selling. That's the way it's supposed to be and that's who I'm going with now...

Yes, your message was "received by the people that it was directed to"-and you made sure EVERYONE ELSE - REPEATEDLY.
We got your message in phone calls, PM's and recurring public posts to express your dissatisfaction with World. Further, we've expressed our regret, apologies and the truth of our situation-to you-and all these other interested parties, in private and on this forum. We've admitted our mistakes and fallen on our sword out loud here. That seems to have sufficed for the majority that have placed deposits or orders with our dealers.
Others who have had equipment on order have been generally understanding and overwhelmingly supportive and not rushed to cancel orders.
But those that had negative feelings or comments expressed them (as is everyones right) and MOVED ON. They haven't lurked the threads and dropped stink-bombs when the opportunity presented itself. GMH GTO inadvertantly provided you such an opportunity and does not deserve the spanking-you're talking AT him but TO us.
World is very close now to bringing a quality alternative cast block to this market, in volume. We'll strive to overcome the loss of your order. The forum will accept or reject our parts on their own merit or lack thereof-not your sniping.
The whole board has known since May of your bitch with us. I've avoided kissing your *** or pissing back at you in spite of the "barfy- faces" prevalent on your keyboard. I won't rise to the occasion anymore.
It got old. We're done getting hit with the Dune-Stick.
You've had the last word-4 or 5 times now.
Attempt to exhibit class. The forum is watching.

Dune, I have to agree that your crybaby antics should have expired by now. In fact, if I see you crying about this stuff again (where is that beating the dead horse icon?), I'll just give your user account a nice 6-month vacation from viewing the site.

All that you are doing now is considered harassment. It isn't welcome here.

This is, I believe compared to the stock LS1 block weight of ~107 lbs and LS1 head weight of ~25 lbs. Actually I'm not 100% on those numbers so I'd like anyone to verfy/correct if possible.

If those numbers are accurate, you're looking at a wicked stong big bore block with NO weight penalty.

Merlin Pro, interestingly enough I have a marine application for this block I'll give you a call when it's released. Great work!

Im new here and Im not sure if this question has been asked yet. This is in regards of your LS7 type cylinder heads. Are you're intake bolt pattern the same as the GM LS7 head? The reason I ask is because I will be getting a sheetmetal intake build based on the GM LS7 heads due to being the only resource for the build. Im highly intrested in your heads and block and I just wanted to make sure I did not build a 2500 intake based on the the wrong heads. Thank you for you're time and can't wait for your product to come out!!!
