New GMPP LSX Block
I am a racer sponsored by GMPP. I will race the GMPP/Horsepower TV Super Nova in the NMRA Nostalgia Pro Street Class for 2007 and 2008.
I have drag raced various heads up and index classed for many years.

We are running a local race in Michigan that is open only for Mod, new hemi and LS. If your Nova is ready it would be cool.

4.3" bore thats getting to be old school ZL1 427ci territory they were 4.313" with a 3.365" stroke and a 1.681 rod ratio that's good stuff or you could go crazy and max out the stroke and get all kinds of inches.but to me the best thing is that the LS7 block will become "cheap" still cost some chedda though.

My feeling is that it would not happen with the NMRA. While the NMCA would be the natural choice there would be a lot of ground work before anything happened. I just use the NMCA as an example. There are several other series that could be considered.
Really I don't think that GMPP is interested in a Mod Motor VS LS shootout.
It would be better to highlight racers, teams and shops that have supported the LS engines.

Thanks for catching that I hate having and even worse giving bad info.

So are you hanging up your spurs with NMRA?
If NMCA got interested in a late model Mod vs LS, maybe throw the Hemi's in there, that would be a good thing. Let me know if me calling you to give you background on the numbers would help.

I have had a lot of interest in the 05. I will start talking about selling it after the NMRA Atco race.
Really it would be better to sell it. Since I will be focused on the Nova for the new couple of years.

That, and it makes sence that cylinder pressure should be a concern, where does that leave the forced induction guys? Or is this an "all motor, with a bit of nitrous" type of block?
