How would one go about screening the heads?

I talked to some one at ETP, and he said that Yella Terra has a set around 800.00, but I don't know for sure if they do. Someone may wanna do a little research.

I would probably just get the stock LS7 rockers rebuilt. No need to spend 800 bucks.

Talk to howard @ Redline perfofmance I think he is a dealer for Curtisbilt rockers. He might have some info.

Personally with what you have done so far with the ported LS7 heads and cam selection, I would bite the bullet and get the Jesel rockers and make it happen.

I didnt know that jesel had released rockers for the ls7 heads .
I hope that you didnt hav any following failures to the broken rocker, and hope you cleaned all debris out of the engine.

There's no room for screens in these motors. The oil return runs down into the lifter area, not the valley area where you normally put the screens...

Why not epoxy a couple of magnets in palces likely to catch crap. Easier than screens and more practical right?

Sorry to hear about your rocker Greg. That sucks.

I bit the bullet and had Richard at WCCH machine mine for the Jesels when he enlarged the pockets for the new springs. The Jesels were $$$, but the machining was really cheap.

in a race engine, both is preferred, IMO.
