L92 Car Intake @ SDPC

L92 Car Intake @ SDPC First off, ignore the writeup in GM High Tech about the complete intake kit for the L92. That part # is not a good GM number at this time and will not be released any time soon.
Second, we have found out that the intakes are going to be more than we expected. Since they are coming from Australia and there is a limited supply these intakes are going to sell for around $500.00 plus freight. This is a bare intake with no injectors, rails, or throttle body. The source just called and wanted to verify how many we want because they are ready to ship them. Due to the unexpected increase in price we want to see how many people still want one. We need anyone that wants one to place their order ASAP so we can make sure to get enough.

LS7 heads already have an intake... the LS7 intake.

Well id rather have just the bare intake myself anyways, as i plan to use a Holley LS2 TB and will have custom rails for my swap, So i will be ordering one from you.
Will we have to pay freight from Aussie? Or just from you to me, which is here in Tx and not that bad.
Also how soon will these intakes get here and when will we need to pay for them? Id need a couple weeks to get funds gathered and set aside.
Thanks Ive been waiting on this info, and had emailed a NZ dealer about this intake ane he came back with a price of 19xx.00 USD and also said that there were none of these intakes in Aussie or NZ.

Hey everyone,
No body knows how well they flow/perform, no one has tried them, or even seen them in person in the US at this point. Brian is simply notifying everyone of the changes, and the prices so if you want to try and get the intake, you can. Also, no one knows about throttlebodies/fuel rails/injectors for this piece either. Just FYI to help stop the bombardment on Brian with questions no one can answer!

$500+ freight?
I contacted an Aussie guy 2 months ago and could of got it for the $500. You would think that you could get the intake for a more reasonable $200. Looks like GM is screwing up again. Making it easier to buy products from other suppliers.

GMPP stands by the press release in GM High Tech. THere WILL be a intake manifold kit available in the near future. It will sell for just a little less than $500.00 with the fuel rails, throttle body and fuel injectors.
If you must have one now, and cannot wait (like a new cell phone design) you can certainly pay a little more to get one from SD.
