difference between cammed LS1s and LS2s

difference between cammed LS1s and LS2s i have a MS4 cam and stage 1 LS6 heads on the way from TSP for my 02 Z28. i'm currently exercising the idea of selling it for a GTO. i was just wondering what the advantages/disadvantages would be in installing that combo on a LS2 as opposed to an LS1. i have always been under the assumption that the car will idle and drive better with that size cam due to the larger displacement. is this true?

I make LOTS of power with My FTI cam
Just so you know the LS2 Goat already comes with LS6 heads....
