Default 2005 GTO mini-compilation

Hey guys!

Most of you know that I made 513RWHP and 457 RWTQ with my H/C GTO.

I decided that I would make a little video that shows you what my looks, sounds, and (if you have your bass turned up) feels like!

Let me know what you think!

Thanks!

-Nick

Here is the link with no background music:

I just want to hear the cam!! I'm interested in it, but don't know how it would work with L92 heads. I definately need a different cam. This one just is not working for me.

Nice, Now I see what Kooks Turndown's look like.

Does that thing pass the sound tests or does your state even check?

Why in the world did you overlay the cam sound with the music?

Sure man I can upload the idle video for you. Before you buy a cam you need to have a "plan." Do you know how big the bore is on the L92's? Or the combustion chamber?

What I am getting at is you have to calculate the DCR and SCR. Those numbers will tell you if you are going to make some nice power.

My DCR is: ~8.75 SCR is: ~12.3

No we do not have any tests here in FL. I have never had a problem with cops either
(I even ran open headers for a month or two and cops didn't seem to care.)

Did you see at the end of the video I set off a car alarm? lol.

Here are some pics of turndowns off the car:

pretty sweet, what did those run you? I remember seeing something when you were asking about these and George had you call him, did they custom make them for you? Do they connect to anything other than the ball joint at the collector end (hanger)?

Honestly I do not remember the exact price.... They were very reasonable! (for being all S/S and custom fabbed!)

Yup they were made custom for me... But if you give george a call and tell him you want what Nick has, I am sure he will be able to hook you up

They just connect up to the balland joint connection on the header...

There is really no need for a hanger as they are VERY light!

I was originally thinking about welding a hanger on there.... But seriously there is no need for it.... (I did however put a generous amount of red loctite on the bolts holding it to the header!)

The L92 has a bore of 4.06. 2.16 intake and 1.59 exhaust. The combustion chamber is just under 71cc. I would like to bump the compression a bit from the stock 10.9:1

71cc's is a LARGE combustion chamber... stock is around 62cc

And I am running 58cc....

You could always mill those heads... but then you risk PTV.

I want to mill them but don't want any PTV issues. How will I know before I do it?
