Just checking for an update. We're ready to order an engine and would like to maybe try this one if it's ready anytime soon. Any idea how much higher it will allow the boost/horsepower to be raised before pushing water becomes an issue like it is currently on the factory castings? I think about all the 8 second turbo cars I've seen push water.

What is the max and prefered bore/stroke for the tall deck? Would custom headers be required for a C6 install?

John, If its a shortdeck block your old headers will fit. If you go tall deck you will need a custom header

These are 6 bolt heads now, so it will be alot harder to push the head off the block. This thing is military built.. I think I'll be going somewhere in-between the short deck and tall deck. I can't wait! I'll be needing 2 blocks so far...

454cubic inch is the standard displacement of the tall deck, but with a 4.5inch stroker crank you could take that to about 481!!!!

thanks Chris.

Any idea what the price of a shortblock will be? I was thinking about the LS7, but this may be an idea too.

Tuf and Stang,
I'm told in three weeks or less we'll have the 220 runner 64cc LS1X head to ship out. Close to that time I'll post the final as-cast flow numbers. The protos we've had for testing have been tweeked several times. The final version is almost ready.
The dyno mule (427 size) has not run yet as we're haggling over parts selection. Work is ongoing.
9.24 deck blocks are getting close but I have no final date yet.
93LS
I'll check the price sheet in AM and post here.
Thanks all for asking.
