I'm told by GMSPO that I'll have that intake (not the Escalade part) in my hands October 4, the heads are on the flow bench right now.

According to Partech, the source is overdue and they are working to get a delivery date. Next check back date is October 11. I have had 2 of these intakes on order since the first of August and they are not here. The only ones that are available are the truck intakes. Who ever you are getting them from is the only dealer in the country getting them because no one else is.

By the time you get the 402 from SDPC, 42 lb injectors, revised LS7 lifters, Comp 921 springs, 1 7/8 American Racing headers, cam , RAM Dual Disc clutch, etc, etc, etc. It's not that low budget. I just wanted to do something different than everyone else.

Selling my current H/C/LT's/FAST, etc. will offset the cost somewhat.

You'll have to talk with Bret (SStrokerAce) about the cam specs.

Mine is far from cheap But it'd be even farther with any other set of heads so these are at least a plus.

I here the L92 heads have weak flowing exhaust ports (emissions reasons maybe). Did you port and flow the exhaust ports?

I'm putting them on as they come for now. Maybe when the porters get the CNC programs and if they show significant gain, I'll get them done. The cam is spec'd to work with the heads as they are. I expect that the exhaust numbers will improve somewhat once the 1 7/8 headers are attached.

I am sure you will need a cam with a rather large split. 230+ intake / 240+ exhaust maybe?

SStrokerAce - aka Bret Bauer - spec'd the cam based on the head and intake flow numbers and what I want to do with the car. That's all I'm going to say.
