Is 500rwhp possible with a H/C LS2?

He said nothing about headers, nothing about a FAST intake, nothing about bigger injectors, nothing about a UD pulley, etc, etc, etc. To build a car you would want to drive on the street at that power level it is going to take more than just a set of heads and a cam.

I don't see why not. I am running the Thunder Racing TRak cam in my c6 ls2 and it put down 450hp/407tq. Mods are..Kooks 1 7/8headers with cats, u/d pulley, vararam, formato ported intake. Still running stock cat-back. Plus I drive the car everyday and its really a breez to drive. Geoff at Thunder did and excellent job with drivability tuning. I am sure with heads and fast intake my car would be in the 475-495 range and still have good drivability. On my camaro's adding heads never changed the drivability much.
i believe Chris @ MTI put down over 4well over 450rwhp with an S1 cam and a LS2 with all the bolt ons, he had some bad *** heads for it but never got around to putting them on
