At least 650 RWHP with an M6, maybe 700, especially with a sheet metal intake, 480 cubes, that cr and solid roller. Using an LS7 intake would be kind of ridiculous if you're gonna spend that kind of money on an engine, it will be the weak link between the intake and heads. LGM has ~625 RWHP from their stock LS7 with just a cam, tune and exhaust on pump gas, so why not 700.
I would guess.

You can resleeve an LS7 block and get 480+ ci also and retain the dry sump.
A built 4L80E can handle 1000rwhp without a hiccup and provide overdrive and computer controlled shift points. There are a bunch running around in 3800lb+ 1000rwhp+ F-bodies running mid 8's and I believe Parish's AWD 408ciTT truck weighs 5,000lbs and runs one without any problems (1000rwhp/1090rwtq).
A TH400 will be cheaper overall and cheaper to rebuild but not be freeway friendly if you plan to cruise this monster.

LS7 resleeving
I do LS7 resleeving. The Darton LS7 style dry liner will go out to 4.185" bore for normally aspirated applications. The same sleeve will work in the LS2 block.
I have core LS7 blocks on hand for resleeving.
