L92 vs Ls7
. My question is this: I only want to spend about 3K on heads. Would I be better off going with a set of basically stock LS7 heads, maybe some exhaust porting and milling, or go with a set of fully ported L92's? With a chamber size in the mid 60's and a .040 gasket I should end up with a 11.5~ 12-1 scr. My goals for the motor are 600 rwhp. And no I am not just looking for a Dyno queen, however that is what I need to run the times I want at the track. I am looking to get into the 9's on a 150 wet shot. The reason I say wet is 99% of the time I will be running with no bottle and I don't want to be running around pig *** rich on a nitrous tune. If I have any flawed logic or I am making unreasonable goals please let me know. I am still a relative newbie but I do
a LOT.
