They look like a one piece intake. I don't see how or where you could separate these manifolds.

Bout 20 cfm, I would consider that marginal I guess. Far from "drastic", but how can you argue over something with no set limit?

this just made my decision of choosing between an L76 manifold or an L92 carb style manifold even more difficult.

323 cfm through a manifold

do you know how much did the 4.1" bore help over a 4" bore?

I don't see a separable seam around the manifold like the LS7s. Where is the intake supposed to split?

well lemme go look at it more closely.
Edit: well thats weird as hell. theres 2 posts in the intake that make it look lik a 2 piece. it doesnt seem like the intake needs them for rigidity but yea there is no seem

Will these heads/intake work on a ls1(5.7) block. The intake size lookes to be on the big side. Has this been done before?

No, they need at least a 4.0" bore.

Zigroid,

A well ported single plane should probably do BETTER than that!!

the floor of the intake vibrates without it, and it can make the intake fail.

i believe i read that in Will Handzel's book "How to Build High-Performance Chevy Ls1/Ls6 Engines"... but it could have been another book.. i forget...

on a ls1 intake i had i drilled out the 3 pillars and cut out the bottom, the polished the runners and any rough surfaces and epoxied evrything back together, never broke or leaked, even made over 550 rwhp with a turbo
so i dont think it will affect it to much if they removed, but then again
