Wow, this really pumps me up. I can't wait till these heads are offered as a reworked version. I'm so ready to put my car back together and the heads are the last thing that I'm waiting on. Sure would be nice to save money and get better performance than aftermarket cathedral port heads.

Congrats on the heads and numbers.

Those numbers sound really amazing. Do you happen to have a flow sheet or the flow numbers? I can't wait to see the pictures.

I will let Cesar elaborate on his work whenever he gets to see this. That way he could put certain birdies in their place. Hey bud quit drinking that Haterade.

Bronze guides were put in and Im not sure on what type of material was used on the seats. Here's some info on the heads.
-Valve job= well I was told not to say. Sorry
-Backcut on the valve=34 worked the best
-1/2 Radius's on the ports.
-Valve size=int.2.150 Ext.1.600
-milled= .075 the chamber is @ 58 right now. I could go .025 more.
As for the air flow what I know right now is that the intake flows 374cfm at max lift and 250 on the exhust on a 4.030 bore. It flowed 380 with the valve all the way open on the flow bench. I feel that I can get 380cfm if I were to go with a bigger valve like a 2.200 with out a problem. I will post some pics here soon and some flow #s aswell. Ps I cant wait to put these on my motor. Im just waiting on a carb intake.
Notice the part where it says"The port has been redone by using a little epoxy" He did not break through anywhere in the ports. But what the hell do I know Ive only been a machinist for 4yrs.

i may be wrong but i think he told me that he made the ports smaller so the air volocity was faster thus the use of epoxy, but i could be wrong he was workin on a couple sets of heads at the time

Nice heads

I used epoxy to put some 1/2 inch radius's to have better averaged velocity, not sure what the port volume is...but anyhow the heads are far from being finished.

check yourself at the door first...I doubt a student will admit their mistakes to you...BUt i have an inside scoop with the SAM boys...

Theres alot of "learning" mistakes in those heads...Ill let the good head porters notice the valve guide area on the intake side of things...
