Jason, inquiring minds want to know the runner volume

Also, can you give us a price on just the porting. I have a bare set that I would like to send in for some "altering"

Thanks, Jason

I was hopeing that was wrong or he misunderstood my question as I dont get how it is only 300 less if I dont need heads valves springs or anything. Seems like for 300 more you get like a ton worth of hardware. I was a little confused.

Yeah, he really didn't specify if that price included parts or not. I'd assume it does include valves, springs, so they can do the valve job too. We'll know soon enough.

So we start with 70cc, mill .036, to get to ~63cc ?
Do we have L76 manifold fit problems?

It sure looks purdy, and that's what sells.

I'd love to say more in this thread but it gets edited

Bret I've read your posts not only in my threads but in other threads in this section. I'm honestly pretty tired of your smart mouth... I don't really know who's agenda your working on, but lets give it a rest! Trust me when I say I have way more time & testing in 6.2l stuff than you do. Our 6.2l head was developed by one of the best LS porters in the country. I've compared it to several different samples that SDPC brought to me & this cylinder head does very well.

I don't know what your problem is, but you bad mouthed the heads in my original post until I deleted the post & reposted it. Now your making hints about the cylinder heads & even calling them "cheap" in another thread.

Lets give it a rest unless you have something positive to say. I don't know what your problem is, but these heads are flowing very well compared to not only stock heads, but also other porters heads.

It's irritating when someone who knows nothing about our product goes out of their way to discredit it. I applogize to everyone having to read Bret's uninformed posts... The typical LS1tech people know I spend a lot of timing making sure we produce great products. The 6.2l head will be no exception!

Brett I have to agree with Jason!! I've read your other posts & they seem pretty low. How about you give the heads time & let some testing get done!

Bret why are you trying to discredit a sponsors product that you've never seen?

Thanks for the support guys! We're working hard on several different 6.2l packages right now! I just don't get people who act like that...

mainly because I'm not at the head right now to check it! It won't be very far from the stock port size, we worked really hard to keep the runner as small as possible.

You guys post up flow numbers.... but didn't check the runner length so does the above post mean we will be told the port size come monday? I personally know 2 people that are waiting on this information to determine if this head is right for them.

Considering the L92 head starts out at 260cc's (if im not mistaken) I'm very interested in this info myself.

The solution is simple Jason. I've got a 402 w/ L92''s and L76 up and running no the street in my C5. The L92's are stock. Comp me a set of the ported heads, we'll have Phil T put them on and I'll put all this to rest.

Why don't you cut them a break. They sponsor this board. I have witnessed a couple of other head porters in the drag & circle track market develope their own 6.2L heads. The PRC head flows every bit as good as the others. This is a great product for the LSX community.
