Maybe they didnt come out how they liked and are re-doing them. That'd be nice.

From all the info that I have been able to find on these heads is that the intake side is pretty much perfect as cast and the exhaust side is the one that needs a little help..Chevy engineers really did thier home work on these heads before they went into production..now that things are getting back to normal after the holidays I would guess that we should see some CNC work finished and some heads ready for the consumer shortly .. even the guys at TSP have a "life" too ...

Been told that TSP is just waiting for the program to start cutting these things. They were supposed to have it last Wed. so that is the hold up. I already have a set of these ordered since the very beggining of Dec. So if you guys think it's killing you, I already paid for them.

The digitizing of the port doesnt take that long. Its the actual port work and shaping things to show gains that you want. I know how difficult it is.

Digitizing the ports does take that long when you rely on someone else doing it. The equipment isn't cheap, so a lot of places oursource the digitizing.

Actually the digitizing did take a lot longer to do this time. The digitizing system was being relocated so it was down for sometime It's on the cnc machine right now though guys

These cylinder heads will be available with either stock 2.160"/1.59" valves, or the stage 2 2.180"/1.6x" valves. Either option will be shipping with our new valve spring option. With this setup I feel these heads will support about .630" lift or so. I'll test a few different setups to confirm this, but that's my guess...Compare these flow numbers to others flowed on much larger bores...

We all can assume the stock valves are for shortblocks with a 4.060 bore or smaller and the 2.18/1.60 valves are for engines with a 4.1 or larger bore. Have you considered the potential issues with PTV/valve shrouding by using the larger valved head on a 4.0 or 4.030 bore? It would be ill advised for someone to purchase these heads and not know what piston combination they can put on without potential failures. Just wonderin
