Has anyone ever put a LS7 in a LS1 Fbody? Would it even fit?

GM and Katech have. Search around and you'll probably find something. The Katech car is white with blue stripes.

Gm Performance had a flat black painted Camaro out on the Hot Rod Power Tour last June with a LS7 in it...

I remember that car at Milan. It couldn't run better than a 12.0@123 with slicks.

The thread describes most of the quirks of installing the LS7 in the F-body. It was a pretty direct swap.

There was a bright yellow GTO with a LS7 on the hot rod power tour last summer it had GM test vehicle painted on the sides...
