Yes this will be run on corn, compression is 13.0-1, runner length is 4 1/4 inches and they do not extend into the plenum also it will fit under the hood of a vette but the driver side rear corner may hit the firewall. the engine is just being finished up and will be on the dyno soon #s to follow and the answer to the most important question is YES!!! T.P.I.S. is producing this manifold on a per order basis call them for details.

Does that intake lose low end power compared to the stock composite style?

Most likely, yes.

You'll gain top end HP at the expense of low end torque.

Depends on what you use your car for.
If you don't drag your car and aren't a number chaser, stay with the LSx style intake. You'll make more torque down low were you spend most of your time.

Some people, like myself, would find the extra weight in the front of the car unacceptable.

i dont understand why you would go through all the trouble of buil0ing a 7.0 and then putting L92 heads on it.. why wouldnt you put the LS7 heads on it?

The obvious reason would be costs/$/budget, as the L92 heads are going to be MUCH CHEAPER (even ported) vs LS7 heads!!!

New numbers, changed cam timing now 670hp. 570tq. Tried ls7 heads with a hogan intake and that engine made less power then mine with the l92 heads.

LS7 heads with portmatched LS7 intake together, flow what L92 heads flow alone. the heads are 100xs better and only a few hundred more.

He did state in this post that these 650+HP numbers were on an engine dyno and now he is at 670HP and that would be on an engine dyno also!
