yella terra

has anyone had goodluck with these yella terra rockers? i am wondering if they are any good or if anyone is using them, I am also considering the harland sharp rockers, any info please help!

Yella Terra are a very well respected company "down under", they have been around for about 40 odd years and there product range and R&D is continually moving forward, I would not hesitate to recommend there products.

We use there products extensively without failure or complaint.

I did back to back dyno runs with these and gained 0 HP. They did seem to quieten the valves a very little.

We've used YT's on 4 engines about 3 years ago.They are still on with no problems.1 engine pushes 840rwhp.

Keep in mind that you wont usually "see" hp gains unless a) the previous rocker was deflecting/bending/distorting - not ususally the case unless you're running a solid roller with high spring rates *or* b) you are increasing rocker ratio, effectively adding usable duration and lift.

so what is the true advantage over the stock rocker? Strength or looks or what?

I have them on for about 12000 miles. I got them to quiet down the valvetrain and it did so very well. They are of good solid construction. Shaft mount as well.

i had a set of them that i ran for 2 years without issue and now they are on a friend of mine's 408 stroker with no issues. they are a very nice piece in my opinion.

Ive had these on since my first cam swap 3 years ago and they've been on ever since. no issues at all. very nice pieces...too bad im gonna have to get rid of them when i go to the l92 head (offset rocker design).
