Default Need help on DCR

I am looking at not milling my heads and having a DCR of 8.4:1 or I can have the heads milled .030 and have a DCR of 8.78:1. I do not know how to convert this to SCR, therefore need help on this to decide. Car is NA on 93 pump gas. If anyone can help me to convert these numbers to SCR or let me know the highest DCR for pump gas would really be appreciated.

You dont convert DCR to SCR, SCR is got by dividing the cyl displacement by the tdc chamber size.

DCR is just compression when the cam is taken into account.

Around 8.5 is about as high as you want to go on pump gas.
