Default L92 Valves

Been seriously considering buying a set of bare L92 heads to put on my 408 project, but I haven't seen a good set of valves, and i preferably don't want to use stock valves. Anybody know of a vendor or sponsor that has a really good set?...also...if i end up using a 4'' crank, what PVT am i going to have using...say a 630ish lift cam? Im a noob with this L92 stuff, and espically a noob on motors over 346ci so any help would be great.

The lift on the cam has no effect on the PTV, the duration does. The stroke has no effect on it either. Unless you already have the pistons for this build, I would strongly suggest having a set of pistons custom made for the L92 heads. Don't ask me how I know

I called Manley, and they are supposed to be releasing new part numbers
for their stock size 2.16/1.59 stainless valves in a few weeks.
The part numbers will be 11620 and 11621.
I was told that the intake will be a "race flo" necked down stem, and the exhaust will be a "race master" straight stem.
I hope they get on the stick so I can get my project rollin!
Jobber price is said to be about $20 bucks each, seems like a deal!
Does anyone have an opinion on the durability of a stainless valve in a twin turbo (800+HP) setup?
Ferrea does makes a 1.60 exhaust valve designed for a turbo application, so I may use the Manley 2.16 intake and the Ferrea 1.60 on the exhaust just
to be safe.
Any thoughts on this?

most of the time cam lift and duration go together.... guys with lots of lift add lots of duration.

I am curious what a big lift small duration or big duration small lift setup would do on one of these!

What's the pros and cons of stainless over regular steel? Will the aftermarket stainless be any lighter?

The Rev valves that are supposedly in the works, will they be stainless as well or will they be titanium?

Anyone make 2.16 titanium valves or possibly close to it and that could be turned down?

How do you know? What happened, so I don't make the same mistake too.

REV just made me a set of intake valves for my L92's, 2.160 ,pro flow style swirl polished S.S. 104 grams @ $156 for the set. They had them done in 1 day. Nice valves.....

Oh yeah, my L92/L76 408 is running in my V with these valves.

Is 104 grams considered light for that size of valve?

I bought a set of pistons second hand, they were new but cut for a standard ls1. Now the valve reliefs in them will not match up with my heads. I am now limited on my cam choices because of this,
