Default Porting the LS2/LS7/LSX manifold and LS1/LS2 Throttle bodies

Hello all,
I just wanted to let everyone know that we are able to handle all of your porting needs in regards to manifolds (LS2/LS7 $300 and LSX $350) and throttle bodies (LS1 $125 and LS2 $150). We have seen numerous competitors work from all over the country and feel we are the most aggressive porters that will get the largest gains.
Here is where we stand we have ported over 110 LS2 manifolds and average 11RWHP and 13RWTQ, over 20 LS7 manifolds avg 16RWHP and 19RWTQ, over 20 LSX manifolds avg 10RWHP and 10RWTQ (we have a new port design that we are certain will better these figures for the LSX manifold).
The stk throttle body shields the opening until about 40% throttle. We alter the design significantly and your lower end is improved greatly with much more bottom end because you get more air at a lower throttle opening. This mod is decieving though the WOT gain is less than your butt dyno will lead you to believe. We average about 4RWHP and 4RWTQ we have seen some freak gains of 13RWHP and 13RWTQ on an LS7 (they tend to average more about 7 and 7)
I had an LSX manifold w/ a 78mm top and then went to an LS2 TB and LS2 intake about 2.5 years ago. I felt like I lost about 50RWTQ in the bottom end and the reason was the TB and the shielding of the lower end throttle response, of course I did lose a bit of power from the manifold but that would not as drastically affect the response.
I hope this helps some of you. I know we are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
Thank you all and God Bless
Jeremy Formato

How about the L76 intake manifold? You caught my attention.

So roughly $450 for a LS2 TB and manifold.
What would a core charge run for tb and manifold.
I can't have my goat down for longer then a day or two as she's my daily driver.

I will be sending you my LS7 mani for sure. I would assume that there is no need to port the aftermarket t.b.'s. Correct?

Jeremy's a good guy and he does great work. He just recently did tune and ported the intake and TB for my LS2 GTO. With the weather here I haven't had a chance to get it back on the dyno, but I can confirm that the throttle response difference with the ported TB is impressive.

I assume there are minimal gains to be had with a NW 90mm TB on an LS7 intake manifold?

Nick Williams will release a 100 mm TB for LS2/LS7 soon.

Jeremy, I will finally be bolting on your ported intake & TB next Saturday since I have unlimited dyno time scheduled to test out your pieces and the LPE 100mm MAF! I'll be contacting you offline next week to be sure I get the tuning tips down that I need and then will send you back my stock TB as we agreed. Thanks for your patience!

I spoke with Jeremy about this earlier today and he said he has a customer who is putting one of his car. When he puts it on they will test it and see if any gains are available with this manifold. He believes there might be some, but probably not as much as the ls2/ls7 since the l76 is a 1 piece manifold. He will deff update you when this testing is performed

Good grief.. It only took us 8 weeks to get our 100mm MAF from LPE. Can't wait to see the results John! We'll be hitting the dyno soon ourselves - finally..

I have to add that Jeremy's turn around time is quick. I sent him my LS7 intake just before XMAS, and even with all the snowstorms here (UPS and FedEX were having trouble delivering packages), I got it back just after New Year's. He and his wife are a top notch operation.

I'll be adding a Formato-ported LS2 TB and intake to my setup in a few weeks.

Well, as soon as I get my darn LS7 heads delivered, I'll let you know. Until then, I have a very expensive chunk of machined aluminum sitting in my garage

Hey guys been real busy and just want to try to answer any lingering questions.
The L76 is in the works. I have had one here for 2 months but not on a car yet...
The core charge for the LS2 TB and manifold would be about $450. I do have them in stk.
NW stuff is very nice i just bought a few from him, correct no need to port most of those aftermarket units.
100mm TB-Nick and I were talking about this sometime ago , i look forward to it.
John Bdzel I look forward to your results as well I praying they work out for the best!
I hope to help all of you guys out. I will be near some of you guys in the next few months if you would like me to tune some of these vehicles and optimize them. I am planning trips to south PA in the gettysburg area and NORCAL near sac and san fran. Thank you and God Bless

Typically if you get the intake/TB here when Jeremy isnt out of town every other day (which happens every 3-4 weeks), He can get the manifold and TB back out within 2-3 business days. With everything but the FAST manifold, we have pre-ported intakes and TB around and can ship them out the same day or next business day.

Hello Shalane.

So, do you currently have a ported LS2/LS7 in stock ready for shipment?

If so, please let me know and also how I can pay and provide shipping info.

Thanks, Perry
