So who has them? I just got off the phone with REV and they're not releasing theirs till the end of february. Anyone know whats up? This is the only thing i'm missing to put my heads on.

stock valves... not lighter aftermarkets.... I am on the phone with Matt now.

he said that if and when rev or manley or whoever come out with some he will carry them.

I really dont want stock heavy valves in my heads. Someone has an aftermarket 2.18 valve available... I would only do this with a bore larger than 4.060...... not on my 4.030, I would be fearful of valve shrouding.

Aftermarket valves are not necessarily lighter. They are ofter heavier.

What is so hard about buying larger valves and cutting them down to size. Its done day in and day out when the parts arent readily available.

Im soo stumped on why no one is going that route?

REV will custom make some valves for the L92 heads in the meantime. They'll cost more but you could have them in a week or so. They can make the valves a little longer to facilitate springs for big lift cams if needed.

8mm stems are not nearly as popular as the 5/16 stems. Just requires some guide work.

Exactly my point. A good machinist/builder knows what to do to get the job done. We have people trying to go around a very reputable builder...HK Enterprises knows these things. Quit asking for answers on a board that doesnt have near the knowledge that Erik has.

So let the builders do there jobs!!!! Just pay the bill when its done. You obviously hired him because you felt comfortable with his work and opinion. Let the man make his living by doing what he does best. Build and spec engines. Leave it at that.

I'd like to get a set of titanium valves myself, at least for the intake valves. What are some popular companies that make them? What kind of price am I looking at?

Talk to Del West. Expect somewhere around $1K probably.
