The All Pros aren't far off and have a slightly smaller port (12 degree versus 11 degree though, so the cross-sectional area is going to be a little closer). Overall, I like the All Pros better than a stock LS7 casting if you're really going after power due to the added beef around critical areas. Also, these will be for 427ci+ 7500+RPM engines. With enough compression and a big enough solid roller, 850-900HP should be attainable.
Be careful choosing a particular head merely based on flow. With that said the intake and exhaust ports have nearly 20cfm more peak flow than a standard LS7 head which as we know has a very well designed and executed intake port. The All Pro's are a thick wall casting with at least 50% more material behind the head gasket surface. These heads have a lot more aluminum in virtually all critical areas. The LSW heads weigh just over 4lb more than a standard LS7.
All Pro has built a great reputation making durable high quality head castings for racing small block Chevys in the Sprint Car and drag racing circuts for a long time. I chose to work with their heads because I believe their products have a lot of racing inspired technology built into them. The LS7 head is a fantastic head for street driven cars and some that do light track work but there is a reason why the Chevy C5R Covette team doesn't run them. They wouldn't hold up to the rigors of racing. Simply put, the All Pro heads like the racing Chevy counterpart (the C5R head) are built to hold up under extreme pressure.
I wish it weren't so, but quality and durability aren't cheap.

When I spoke to Bob on the phone the other day, he said that these heads would be capable of the 6 bolt pattern, for the LSX and the warhawk blocks. After our call I thought about it and the patterns for these blocks are different. Would they be custom drilled for the customers needs? Thanks,
Keith
