what do you have against 4.0 stroke?????????

ok, if you guys want to know specific stuff make a thread. nobody has conclusivly answered anything i dont think...
what would be the specs needed to run forged pistons with L92 heads on a stock bore (4.00) 6.0. how big of a pocket would be needed for the valves, and is anyone making mass production pieces?

since the L92 heads are a diffrent angle, what kind of forged pistons do you need to run on a 4.00 inch bore motor.. and where can i find these expensive parts?

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION: need custom pistons..... 4.00 bore motors are not the best bore size for the 2.16 intake valve due to shrouding....... get more bore.... the more the merrier.
You will need to cut reliefs in a flat top to make it work. That is what I believe Koenig is doing/saying. No need for a new thread. this is all the same subject.

new sleeves are unnessecary for a 4.070" bore on a 6.0L block. If Erik thought I could spray the nitrous I will spray on a .070" bore then I am more than happy to, and if that bore leaves the cylinder walls to small then I would stay smaller. Let Erik answer the questions posed to him, you have no idea what you are talking about, let the man that knows the parts speak for himself.

I am having some sets of L92 specific 4.005-4.030 pistons made for the reg 6.0 iron and LS2 block engines and the bigger 4.065-4.075 L92 block bores

what about these .. only shows big bore , wonder if they do the same for their 4.030 6.0L sets

ooops..... I forgot about what you said with those L92 blocks.... that is right. They are 4.065 bore engines......... cool.
So what piston assemblies do you have for a 4.030 bore on the L92 Erik??
nevermind.... i read a little further------>

I would not even think of going more than .060 on a Iron block even with sonic/pressure testing or whatever they call it. with spray .060 is likely too much ..... but heck I am sure Erik has his facts on this subject and my disagree.

No we were all confused on the L92 block VS the regular 6.0 block. We do the 6.0 blocks from 4.005-4.030 usually but have done some up to 4.060 with no problems but I wouldn't usually start there.

thanks for the comment. Some people like to make me look like a fool out of there own enjoyment..... even if I am not as clueless as they seem to think. I dont know as much as some... but I spend more time researching and catching up them almost anyone out there.
