Nice to hear your catching up. I would like some info on the valvecovers, like will they clear Jesel rockers without work?

Kurt, there is a place called ultrapromachining.com that makes very nice billet valve covers, that will clear almost any valvetrain. I have there valve cover on my engine. They offer the covers with and without spring oilers and with or without coil pack mounts.

Default etp valve covers

Kurt,

They will clear everything. We put them on all of our stuff and they should even clear the LS7 AllPro valvetrain. Craig will put some pics up today. We have two different covers, one for a custom coil mount and one for an OEM coil bracket. We project the cost on these from the low to mid 300.00 range.

I will update this post next week when we have all of our final specs on the L92 and CV street head. They will be avalible relatively soon, We know that this is close to race season and we surely would not want to string anybody along. We will put up some more pics between now and Monday of some other goodies.

Cary, valvecovers accept stock GM gaskets?
Also, wish you would have told me this a few days ago. Do our most recent head order on the GM LSx 6 bolt pattern please. it will live its next life on those! "We are also offering all of our cylinder heads with the option for a 6 head bolt pattern for either the GM "
Call me or email me when you seethis

They use the oem ls1 rubber oring. There may be times when some guys will not want the oring, then we can supply tehm with rubber gaskets and no groove.

I would like to see a set of these. Can you cut the outer perimeter for .102 buna cord so we can clear the rockers and still use o-ring seal?

Kurt do you just leave the ends on a buna rubber cord or just dab a bit of silicone and pretty leak free?

We do put a little drop of silicone at the joint.

Yes we can do that. It should still fit with the factory rubber gasket, unless you are way outside of the sealing window. We can supply a .060 -.125 viton or neopreme flat gasket too. we are exploring other materials that may work better, Detroit Gasket is nest door to us, so we have been looking at other alternatives.

These will still require use of shaft mount rockers, but will be in excess of 400 cfm at streetable valve lifts.

IM REALLY INTERESTED IN THE CV STUFF. The original pricing was a bit out of my range with the fact you have to run the shaft rockers. but if it comes down some id be in for a set. I currently have AFR 225's and with my intake setup i think i could actually use the better head flow. Id go with the 255's but the cost to hp gain is not enough right now.

Looks like you guys are stepping it up. At one time i had a set of 255's on order but the 6 weeks i waited then was told 4 more weeks i cancelled and had the AFR's in a few days.

Kurt, I'll have a set of these covers to go with the new heads so you can play with them if you want. The heads and valvetrain are ready to go but I still need a block!! Fingers crossed for next week!!!! I am excited about this year!!
