You shouldn't be worrying about your SCR, you should be worrying about your DCR. 10.9:1 or whatever SCR means nothing if you don't know your DCR. I personally wouldn't go with the stock .060 gasket, that's way too thick. Figured out how far out of the hole your pistons are and add .032-.035 to that to see what thickness you want your gaskets (unless that creates too high of a DCR, then you can add a bit of thickness as a temp fix, but that's a diff issue).

Sorry, typed 10.9 instead of 11.9:1, my bad. And as stated, DCR is something to consider as well. Post up your cam specs and some of these wizards can help out more with that!

So the GM multi layer gaskets I got for a 6.0l truck will not work? I am running a 402 w/ the l-92's I just figured a 4.00 bore the multi's would work fine.
