LS7 dry sump conversion part number help
I went here https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iv-internal-engine/325495-ls2-ls7-gm-parts-numbers-list.html and I'm not seeing any windage tray or anything else (hardware to hold it or is it held to the mains?). I do see that I'll need 12596689 (pan) and 12598212 (pump) and I'll be fabricating my own lines and possibly my own tank since 12603281 is ridiculously expensive.
Am I missing something or is this about all I really need to buy from GM and then go aftermarket on the lines and make the tank myself?
I just found this https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iv-internal-engine/281302-ls7-dry-sump-pan-pump-ls1.html which I think answers my initial question...but does anybody have the part number for that tray?
Who's doing the crank for you? Ballpark dollar amount? Approximate bobweight? One issue I am facing is an expensive balance job trying to get steel rods to work with the ti rod crank (stock LS7), I'll be spending more for the crank and balance job than I would have for a nicer aftermarket crank better suited for the steel rods.
