Default What rings for a stock LS2 piston?

I'l be using stock rods and pistons/ rings from a 2006 LS2 motor, pulled with less than 4K., moving into an iron 6.0. Going through the GMPP web site cat. they list the LS2 using 1.2, 1.5, 2.5 rings while the LQ4/LQ9 uses 1.5, 1.5, 2.5 rings. I have not made any phone calls yet but looking online I've found nothing.Am I stuck with factory rings? Are they reg. cast or moly coated? Is there a close enough fractional ring? Should I just hone the block and re-use the rings on the pistons? Thanks in advance, 5150.

I had looked at the same thing, but all I found was the OEM rings and they weren't cheap either. Could've gone with aftermarket pistons, but then there is the issue of re-balancing, etc.

None of the vendors I called had them. Getting them produced as a custom set would have been cost prohibitive.

I have a set of Hellfires in mine. I gave about 140.00 for them from a local speed shop
