Default ~ 8k rpm solid roller sheet metal ls7 style

Thinking of doing a big bore, short stroke, solid roller sheet metal, LS7 style (maybe L92s even?) freak show.

Has anyone done one, or know of anyone who has? Any results?

Thinking of these options that may vary

4.155-4.200 bore
3.622 stroke (stock crank)
All-Pro LSW or ET LS7 Solid Roller (anyone have any luck with L92 solid roller setup?)
Beck Sheet Metal Intake
American Racing 1 7/8 Headers

Winging it to 7500-stock pcm limit (8k?)

I was told for something like this I would need a liquid cooled wallet. I did ask one sponsor about an LSX block package that was in the range listed. It was 24K without frills.

biggest thing is going to be oil volume, a Accusump will keep the motor oiled when you empty the pan, and you will empty the pan on a 8000+ rpm motor.

I would listen to Richard about his LSW heads, if i had a 4.125 bore i would run them, in person they look like a work of art!

I think the screen name is six speed inc. or something. He is the guy that owns t56 rebuilds.

Yeah, as far as looks that thing is pure sex. But I really haven't seen that it is worth the extra money over the LS7 intake. 20 hp=$2500= not for me. If I was doing an all out competition engine, then maybe. But for a street motor, the factory LS7 is plenty.

I have had good luck with my Melling oil pump and Moroso oil pan windage tray and pickup. I am switching to dry sump on my new build because I am going to turn the next beast to 9000rpms. The 402 liked to be turned lots of rpms. I have had very good luck with my Beck manifold, but I do know that Patterson racing uses a lot of the Wilson stuff. I would like to see a A to B comparo between a Wilson manifold and a Beck manifold.
