I changed the crank in my LS7 to run a wet sump, internally balanced, with a 4l60 flex plate.

The LS7 crank will work fine if used with the stock rods and pistons. You can use a LS2 oil pump, pickup tube, and pan. You will have to use a spacer for the crank pulley due to longer crank snout.

We changed rods, pistons. Used a 4340 eagle crank, Ls2 pump, p/u Canton swap pan.
It is in a 69 Camaro. 58x reclutor with a Speartech harness

LME built mine, call Bryan he can help. I don't think you can use the LS7 crank in a wet sump set up. The geometry is different. You have to change the crank to use a LS2 pump. But I'm not 100% positive, just 90%. The Ls2 accessories I believe can be used with a spacer. However I know the LS7 manifold is different and that it places the TB downward, more than a LS2 and that affects your water pump nossle placement. I couldn't use an LS2 pump. I wanted the wet LS7 that's why the changes. But ask a reputable builder, LME, Katech- they're more knowledgeable than I.
