exactly. some people in this thread are not understanding that this cam was made for a certain set of heads. To use this cam with ported cathedral port heads on an NA setup would be silly.

Would Katech recommend this cam with ported L92's and a GMPP single plane intake?

lol I was actually thinking about others, not neccessarily you.

I'd be interested to see a dual plane intake designed for the L92 heads.

I am thinking about doing a back to back dyno comparison with this 233/276 on a LS2 /w l92/l76 setup vs the 232/234 CSP Camshaft thats in it

Definitely. We've tested this cam with ported L92s and with the single plane manifold (on an LS7) but never the combination of the two. Results from the LS7 should be consistent on the L92.

Any dyno graphs or comments on idle and driveability/street manners? I'd love to see those results.

This cam works well on the street. It likes rpm above 2000 and pulls real hard to 6200. Graphs show L92's making slightly more torque at lower rpm than the LS7 heads.

By the way, the cam does sound wicked and attracts alot of attention.

When I talked with Jason and Kevin at Katech - I told them I wanted an really nasty 427 with a L92 top end and this is the cam they recommended - FANTASTIC!!!! Believe me these guys know there stuff.

Just trying to reinstate one of the questions in the first post..

"any thoughts of it in a L92/L76 408" type setup?"

Stupid question:

Would Katech use this cam as a strip cam in an L98 (ie. 364ci with stock L92s) and carb intake?

Even stupider:
What would the PTV be like?

How many cubic inches? what heads? and what compression ratio?

The carbed motor looks fun with a manual trans!
