Yes for sure, on stock cubes there is no difference. Makes for a very easy engine swap. Just make sure LS2 crank has 24x reluctor wheel.
Also is there a huge benfit to running the LS2 stuff over te LS6 stuff?
None unless you go big cubes or wild cam someday.
The cars' LS1/6 computer is going to be looking for signal from a 24x crankshaft reluctor wheel.
05 LS2's had 24x reluctors.
then it changed to 58x
