Right on, but I would second think the money it takes to put together you lsx short. Nitrous sucks unless you only plan on using it once a year. Trust me just buy a new ls2 block use the heads you have and all the other **** and buy an aps kit. you can controll the power from inside the cab with your boost controller and be done never look back. Thats what I did. anyway good luck with whatever you end up doing.

Update:
The LSX 454 has 1,600 miles and nearly 4 months on it since the initial build.
LMR has the car in their shop for an inspection to verify everything is running as planned. Because everything is new and somewhat unproven in this combination, a partial disassembly was done for inspection.
The cylinder heads were removed and the block shows perfect wear patterns inside each bore. All clearances are tight. The cylinder heads show nothing abnormal, chambers are clean and all valves show very normal wear and looked real clean.
All in all, the engine combination is solid and should live for a longtime. There are rumors about the LSX block floating around, but this one is living up to the performance hype without issue.
Up next is the Hot Rod Power Tour this summer for the Long Haul from Little Rock, Arkansas to Madison, Wisconsin. And Car Craft shot the T/A in late December and will feature it in their magazine in a few months, probably near the late Spring or early Summer editions.
