I'm tryin to get my car together and we get the driver side head on and got ready to start on the passenger and for those who know what the washers look like that come with arp bolts they have that chamfer on one side so it sets up against the bottom of the bolt head flush. Well i got one washer that is completely flat on both sides. Just wanted to put that out there and for everyone that gets them to check em out good because it can't be used, and was wondering if anybody else has got one of these and what they did.

No the chamfer goes up so any imperfections were the bolt head is connected wont interfere with the washer sitting flush with the bolt head and the guy at arp said it is what helps lock the bolt down. If the chamfer is down it wont sit flush with the bolt head.
I got a washer without the chamfer in my head bolts too. Seems like its not a totally odd occurence. I went ahead and used it and I really don't think I will worry about it. The stock head bolts don't even have washers at all.

yea i guess it could possibly be ok, but i dont think arp put them there for no reason. I have another one on the way so it's not that big of deal to me. I'd rather know it's gonna be ok than wonder about it.
