Default Help me choose

I'm building a 68' camaro, I am budgeting about 15k for motor, tranny, and accessories. I need help trying to decide what engine combo to go with. What would be my best choice when comparing hp and prices? Here are my combos so far.

LS2 crate motor with the following mods and a new t56; http://www.popularhotrodding.com/tec..._modification/

Used LS1 and t56, stroked, with heads, cam, intake

LS3/L92 crate motor cam, intake, and new t56

What kind of HP goals are you wanting?? That is a pretty reasonable budget as long as you do not have to buy a rear-end.

l92 416 ($5000)
225 heads (ET,TF,OR AFR Flip a coin it is honestly that close) =$2500
Ported fast 90/90 =$1200
Other internal parts=$2000
1 7/8 primary headers= $1000 (The only reason it is this high is to allow money to modify them as needed to clear everything)

You can pick up a pretty good used built t-56 for $2k or less.

Depending on the cam with this combo, you can go from 500 rwhp to 535 rwhp with ease. Possibly even higher if you want.Good luck

You can

It sounds like you are going to have a lot of work ahead of you. I really think I can help with nearly everything you are looking for to complete your build. If you would give me your email address, or shoot me an email to Leom@4wre.com I will be sure to get right back to your with a quote on some different scenarios.
