Question Where can i find Stock LS2 or Forged Rods that are .927 Wrist pin dia

Hey i just got a question for anyone out there who can turn me in the right direction .. ok i have a Stock Piston of a 4.000 bore .. with a .943 Wrist pin Dia. Well now i had a problem with the engine so im tearing it all apart cause i chilled piston #7 , so i ordered all new Pistons , Which are Diamond Forged Flattop Pistons with 2 valve Relief .. But they are a 4.005 bore .. with a .927 wrist Pin Dia.. now heres the Problem .. I gotta take it to a machine shop and have them Hone the Block out so i can use these pistons .. SO now i cant use my Stock Rods since my piston are a .927 Wrist pin Dia. and my Rod is a .943 . SO now my question is Where can i FInd a rod , i dont care if they are H beim or I beim .. I need a 6.098 Rod Length with a .927 wrist Pin dia, with the Stock Crank Dia For the LS2 Crank .. in the 2005 Ls2 Corvette Motor .. Where Can i find these Rods at ? can Someone help me out here ? or will i have to Sell the pistons i have and Reorder the new pistons with a .943 Wrist pin Dia ? I would Appriciate any help , THANKS MUCH ..

First off stock pins are .945. Secondly pretty much all aftermarket rods are for a .927 pin.

Speed Inc (a sponsor) carries these. Ignore the arrow I used that for another thread I made.

You're going to want the ones that say Scat H Beam - stock length - for .927 pin. I'd also suggest getting the ones with the ARP 2000 rod bolts for some added strength if you plan on using nitrous or something else down the road.

that is our www.speedinc.com

I have a set of scat I beams .927 pin rods in stock price is $249 the rods are press pin

Just as beaflag vonRathburg mentioned, H beam with with arp bolts is the way to go, Callies compstar also makes a 6.100 rod with .927 pins they are also bushed for floating pins, pm or email for details on them.

The price has changed on the I beam .944 pin ones, new price is $299 shipped within lower 48.

it sucks when prices go up, they're imported product.

Just give speed inc a call at 866-571-SPEED and ask for Fraser. They'll hook you up and have free shipping on a lot of things.

Call speed inc or SDPC. They both have the items and can answer your questions for you.

Get those SCAT H-beam 6.100 rods for a .927 pin bore. I'm looking at getting the same set. I have a buddy that has the same rods in his 402 except they are a 6.125". They are good rods for the $$$. I also need a 6.100 rod with a .927" floating pin for my Wiseco's

AT MINIMUM.. get the I-beams. Don't screw around with the stock rods... You can have the stock rods bushed for a floating pin... But WHY? and you will spend $ on the stock ones. For $249 buy the SCATs

Quick Reply: Where can i find Stock LS2 or Forged Rods that are .927 Wrist pin dia
