I ws going to go the wegner route but time was working and the corvette tube worked fine. With our block being filled now I wanted to make sure we had the rear tubes hooked up. I'd love to see a pic of how your manifold is setup, I have a pretty good idea though. With the new intake I had plenty of room under the manifold.

Early LS1'1 had all a solid pipe to all four steam vents. In 2001, the blocked off the rears and put the front two cross-overs pipes together.

You get the complete set-up from the dealer for like $30 bucks.

Still don't understand the logic of the mod since it cuts the coolant flow over the combustion chambers, especially the front three.

I use the LS6 pipe on the rear with a 1/4" heater hose to a T on the front, just like the other Corvette guys above. Never had a head problem on a road race car with this set up.
So 1/4" I.D. heater hose fits perfectly over the coolant crossover tube?? And a 350*F rating is good enough???

Kurt's setup is probably the best marketed solution. Much better look then hacking the stock stuff and running hoses.

This seems like an important point. Overlooked. I did this mod, and I believe this logic is sound.

We're still using a 99 vette crossover tube, its about 1/4" and connects all 4 points.
