Thumbs up ls1 to ls2

Seems everyone hear is upgrading to the cheap ls2 strokers these days. What all is involved in putting an ls2 into a 98 as far as wiring, hardware, intake setups and heads? What all is cross compatible! A 402 sounds great for a good street car. THanks in advance.

For wiring all you need are the extension harnesses for the knock sensors and cam sensor. Use your LS6 intake, TB, and fuel injectors. You're going to want to get your computer retuned too. I've done one of these swaps before and that's all I can think of at the moment.

They have their own valley plate, timing cover with sensor, timing gear for the cam. Lifter retainers too. I think thats it. Pretty much everything else in interchangeable. You'll need to relocate your knock sensors.

Thanks for the help guys. Looking at prices I'm not sure why anyone would stay with an ls1 anymore.
