holy misinformation, batman. to increase bore you have to resleeve past 5.7 . YES all exterior accessories will bolt up, exactly like they do any other LS block.

Thanks for clearing that up. What about strength wise, any forseen issues??? Some one said they Had one but I have not seen any pictures of one that I can compare to an LS1 or 2 block.

All external bolt-ons will bolt on without issues. The sleeves have the same O.D. as the 5.7L engines so it can easily be bored to be a 5.7L engine. The crank and rods are the same as an LS1.

Internally, do the blocks look to be the same or does one look Like it has a thicker Main webing then the other???

4.8 all the way to 6.0 are the same block just different bores you can take a 5.3 and resleve it and bore it to a 6.0 or you can just get a 6.0 liter iron block for $300 which would be cheaper but its up to you

The Trailblazer 5.3L have the dipstick in the pan so the block does not have a hole in the block. The block has the dipstick boss cast into it but it is not machines.
